How much will it cost?
Just £249! The Starter Package won't charge commission like an estate agent, or ongoing fees like other property web sites. There are no hidden fees, and the price you see is the price you pay.
What do I get for my money?
You get a Movelocation 'For Sale' property board, a FREE property listing on Movelocation.com, instructions on how to get your property details online and much more. You can compare our Starter Package and other services on the Comparison Chart.
Do you take commission like an estate agent?
No. We are not estate agents and you we will not charge any commission whatsoever if sold using the Movelocation Starter Package.
What if I am already using an estate agent?
Nothing can stop you from selling your property privately, estate agents can only charge you commission if they sell the house for you - Important Notice
Even though I have signed a sole agency agreement?
Any sole agency agreement you may have signed does not change your right to sell privately, once again meaning that if you sold your house using Movelocation then you wouldn't have to pay the estate agents anything!.
So do we even need estate agents any more?
It saves you money to sell your own home. Although it is perfectly possible to use an estate agent for a number of reasons:
- Not everyone uses the internet
- They offer good advice and selling tips
- Act as a go-between prospective buyers and yourself
If I use MoveLocation, should I tell my agent?
It is strongly advised that you do inform your estate agent to avoid misunderstandings, they can do nothing about it so why hide it from them?
How can I attract local people to my property?
We recommend placing your 'For Sale' sign in a prominent position outside your home to let people know that your property is for sale and inform them where they can find more details about it (by enquiring within or online). When people see that you are listed on Movelocation they could be viewing your house details at the click of a button and arranging your next viewing appointment.
